About 5 Jokerz

A free stat-card prediction game that turns every basketball box score into a five-card poker hand.

What 5 Jokerz is

5 Jokerz is a sports-prediction game for basketball fans. Every player's night is encoded as a five-card hand — one card for each core stat: points, rebounds, assists, blocks, and steals. The bigger a player's line in a category, the higher the card you'd need to call it. A monster night is a Joker; a quiet one is a Scrub.

The loop is simple: predict, lock, reveal. Before tip-off you call the cards you think each player hits. When the game starts your hand locks. After the final buzzer, we score your call against the real box score and pay out in-game coins. Read the game well and you climb the leaderboard — no wagering, no cash prizes, just bragging rights and a deck that rewards basketball IQ.

Why we built it

Box scores are the language fans already argue in — who went off, who disappeared, who quietly stuffed the sheet. We wanted a way to make that nightly conversation a game you can actually win, without the noise of point spreads or money on the line. The card system gives every stat a shared vocabulary, so a triple-double and a defensive masterclass can sit in the same hand and still feel different. It's built to be quick to learn, fun to debate, and free to play.

Who makes it

5 Jokerz is built by Sacred Blue Studios, an independent team. Basketball is our first sport; the game engine is sport-agnostic, so soccer and others follow the same five-card model. We ship updates constantly and read the feedback that comes in — see the contact page to reach us, or How it works for the full card system.
